We doubled the required insulation under the slab, and added another 2" to the ICF perimeter insulation. Then we added 8" sand above the insulation that will become part of the thermal mass of the floor.
Also this week we installed an earth tube air intake that will preheat/cool air coming in to the ventilation system.
