Week three, backfill bonanza
Backfill, 4" of foam, and lots of boulders.
We doubled the required insulation under the slab, and added another 2" to the ICF perimeter insulation. Then we added 8" sand above the insulation that will become part of the thermal mass of the floor.
Also this week we installed an earth tube air intake that will preheat/cool air coming in to the ventilation system.

Week 2!
We just finished week two with an exciting ICF foundation pour! Insulation and concrete forms in one, saving time and labor for a net complete product savings of about 10% plus a few days of time. Corbin has better pictures on his Facebook, but here is what I have
